Hi, I'm Laura, the artisan, owner and bead lady behind Greencove Marketplace. A small batch handmade jewelry shop based in Charlotte, NC.

I work out of my home studio to create handmade polymer clay earrings, small batch hand-stained beads and work with unique global fair-trade beads.

I love building beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces made to last. I am known for my creative flair and accepting the challenge to make almost anything! As a wife, mom and outdoor enthusiast, I take pride in my craftsmanship. I enjoy using power tools , building with my hands and even adding a final touch of gift wrapping to every order. I am passionate about creating unusual combinations of old and new beads and wood grains, adding texture and experimenting with new mediums.

Included in some of my pieces are my own hand-stained beads, clay, hand cut and wrapped suede and leather, hand drilled and/or painted shells and a variety of pendants or tassels.

G|M hand-stained beads are created using my own recipe and drying technique. I currently have 3 small batch custom stains: blonde oak, dark chestnut and fencepost white. All dried to cure for about 2-3 months prior to stringing. I hope you love my small shop as much as I do.

Greencove Names | Marketplaces are a source of local talent, artisans, and community. Since our designs are a mix of recycled and blended mediums, handmade finishes and strung for everyone - it only seems fitting that our collections are too. Each piece is named for a neighborhood, street or crossroads in our very own Queen City.
